Paleo Chocolate Chip Brownies

I posted this killer recipe to my Instagram, but I am finally posting to the blog! This is a staple in my house whenever we want something sweet because I always have the ingredients. These fudgy brownies are so gooey. I love to cook them in a loaf pan because then they are extra thick!

Funny Story: When I first made these I baked them for a super bowl party and I didn’t wanna tell anybody they were healthy to see if they could even tell the difference. As I am enjoying one of the brownies my dad comes to the room I am and says, “Are there any nuts in the brownies?” And I am like eeeek “Yeah I used almond flour”. And it turns out that one of the kids at the party is allergic to nuts and ate one of my brownies…. so you could say these brownies are killer?? Too soon? Don’t worry the kid is alright btw!

3/4 cup of almond flour
2 tablespoon of coconut flour
1/4 tsp of baking powder
4 tablespoon of cacao powder
pinch of sea salt
1/3 cup of maple syrup
1/4 cup of coconut oil melted
2 tsp of vanilla
1 egg

1. Preheat oven to 325 F. Prepare a loaf pan with parchment paper ( loaf pan because i like my brownies THICK)
2. Combine all ingredients and fold in 1/3 of a cup of chocolate chips.
3. Bake for 25 min or until tooth pick comes out clean!
